About Sentrum Woking
The Sentrum Woking data centre is located on the Goldsworth Trading Estate, just West from Woking’s town centre and about 10 minutes from J3 of the M3 or J11 of the M25 and as such it is ideally placed to service data centre clients from Surrey and Hampshire or any business close to the M3 corridor. It is also perfectly suited to those seeking diversity of central London outside of the M25.
Overall the site is huge, with 2 x 132kVA transformers dominating the car park and the 200,000 sq ft of net tech supported by a bank of external generators. Each cabinet benefits from 2N power supplies, thus ensuring complete fail over of a full power string is possible. This is a high quality facility, built and operated to exacting standards by an established and proven wholesale operator focussing on the needs of demanding large scale tenants, many of whom are from financial services, carriers or public sector.
Site security is a particular feature at Sentrum Woking, primarily driven by the needs of some specific public sector customers but also the financial trading tenants whose needs are similar. The site is surrounded by 4M SEAP 3 rated perimeter fencing, tremble alarms, cameras, car-traps on the outside whilst inside swipe cards only give access to specific customer areas. We are confident Sentrum Woking will pass the most demanding security audit and we will be pleased to work with any customer seeking this.
Over and beyond the facility itself network choice is available from all major national carriers including Abovenet, BT, COLT, Easynet, VirginMedia, Vtesse, Verizon, and SSE. There are two carrier meet-me-rooms and diverse site ducts. Crosspoint clients benefit from Internet transit solutions via the Crosspoint multihomed IP platform offering no less than three physical routes out of the facility.
